Recipes for Inexpensive Meals

This nice recipe I acquired from a friend of mine. She calls it “Chicken Bundles”.
We both have a family of five, and this recipe yields enough for tonight’s dinner and tomorrow’s lunch. Here is what you will need.

A preheated oven. 350 degrees.

1 pound or so of boneless skinless chicken breasts. You could also use cutlets. Boil the chicken to cook thouroughly. Then cut into bite sized pieces.

1 box of stuffing (flavor of your choice), cooked.

8 ounces or 1 box of cream cheese.

1 can of cream of chicken soup.

2 cans of crescent rolls.

After the chicken has been cooked and cut, put it in a large bowl. Add the cooked stuffing, the cream cheese and the cream of chicken soup. Mix all together to combine. Unroll the crescents and separate. Take about a tablespoon or so of the mixture and place in the center of a crescent. Then wrap like a diaper. Place all finished wraps on a cookie sheet or baking dish. Put in preheated oven and bake until crescents are golden. Then just enjoy.

You could add a side salad or other vegetable if you wish. These little bundles are very filling and very good.
